Walk-a-Mile for a Meal 9/20/26

Join local schools, religious and charitable organizations, and community members for “Walk-a-Mile for a Meal,” an annual community food-raising event benefiting the New Milford Food Bank during Hunger Action Month. Together, we can help ensure that local families have nutritious food on their tables. Participating is easy: Stop by Big Y, purchase groceries to provide a meal for a family in need, and then join fellow walkers to bring those groceries to the First Congregational Church for delivery to the New Milford Food Bank. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children, youth, and families to come together for a meaningful community service project—making a difference one mile and one meal at a time!
